Heil, is a distinguished artist and educator who dedicated 42 years to the Fine Arts Department at Roanoke College, retiring in 2023. Heil earned her MFA in drawing and printmaking from Northern Illinois University after studying photography, film, and printmaking at Southern Illinois University and the University of Louisville.
