Open board is 19.25" square, Closed and latched it doubles as a Carrying Case and measures 19.25" x 9.5".Made in Poland Hand Carved/Stained/Varnished. Latches and hinges work well. Height of Pieces range from Pawns @ 2&3/8" tall to Kings @ 5.25" tall, and are a bit different from the other sets which are posted and available.This was given to us many decades ago and barely used. No issues, like new. Weighs over 5 lbs. in total.
