Description: Vintage WWII era military water dipper or mess hall ladle. The one side says U.S. S.G.A. CO. 1941. The top of the pan is about 6-3/4" across. The handle is close to 7-3/4" long. Making the total length close to 14.5". Obvious wear can be seen in my photos. Still a great piece of U.S. military history. I've included several photos to show detail and condition.
