Description: For sale is a vintage Sony SLO 340 Beta Player in new condition, as pictured, and including the original box and all items pictured. I purchased this machine on ebay a few years ago. The seller noted he had discovered this Sony machine brand new at an estate sale. I purchased it with the intent to digitize old family Beta footage. Someone viewing this listing just contacted me to let me know that this machine was made in 1979, and that it plays and records in the original one-hour Beta "X-1" only. I was also informed that it will not handle pre-recorded Betamax tapes. I am updating this listing to include this information for all potential buyers. You will receive all of the items pictured. For protection of the original box during shipment, I will place a protective box or cardboard around the original box. Current box dimensions are 23x18x10 inches, shipping dimensions will be slightly larger. Weight is approximately 30 pounds. Shipping expense is based on your location.
