Description: Vintage Sealed Jean D'Albret cusson, Large 2 oz Bottle, Ultra Rare. No box. At 2 fl oz, this is the largest bottle of cusson that Jean d'Albret made at the time. I believe this bottle dates to the 1960's. I have included a photo of an advertisement that is the closest match to this bottle. The advertisement is from 1962, though as stated in the description below, it could have a manufacture date of as late as 1978. It is corded around the bottle and stopper, as well, there seems to be a seal around the lid, that is partially intact. It appears to be some sort of paper or light wax seal? Please look closely at the photos. This is a near impossible bottle to find both sealed and in this size. Don't miss out on a true unicorn. Item will be shipped signature required. Please ask if you have any questions. Empire Presentation: The familiar urn shaped bottle debuted in 1952. Again, this bottle has a glass stopper, but can also be found with screw caps. Variations of the urn flacon include those without a pedestal. These bottles were used from the 1950s to at least 1978 and were known as the Empire Presentation (also called the flacon Amphore) by the Jean d'Albret company. The Perfume was available in four sizes: 1/4 oz, 1/2 oz, 1 oz & 2 oz.
