Description: Up for bid is a very nice vintage 1970s chrome globe floor light on a tripod base. The globe has a 6 1/2" diameter globe. The top of the globe can vary from 35" to 52" in height from the floor by extending and locking the sliding chrome support rods in place. The original power cord is still a good 7' long with the globe locked in its highest position. With the tripod legs folded, the light is very portable and compact at 27" long. The rotary control knob on top of the globe works great and turns the light on and off nicely with a distinctive click. The entire light and all the pieces are in to excellent condition and function smoothly and as intended. All the chrome is shiny and bright except for a small portion of the inside of the globe which has a bit of surface discoloration on it which is not visible with the bulb in it. The bulb shown will be included with this auction. There are no noticeable dents, dings, or distracting scratches and this light is ready to look fabulous with any MCM or contemporary decor. Please see the detailed photos, check out our feedback from satisfied customers and bid with confidence.
