Description: Up for sale is an early 1950s Crosley 11-117U 'Serenader' tube radio. The radio has been fully serviced. Recapped and aligned. The faulty mica capacitors inside the IF transformers have been replaced with those of proper values. When I got the radio, the splines on the tuning knob were stripped, but I was successfully able to repair the splines with JB weld. The cabinet is is fair shape, with some dings and color fade as seen in the photos, looks ok but could possibly use an eventual repaint. The radio plays nicely, and sounds fine, unfortunately the dial tracking isn't all that great, but that's to be expected on a set of this construction.
