Description: Birmingham Stove & Range Co. #3 6 5/8" Skillet, Owned by 3 Generations in My Family. Small, round black cast iron 1-2 Fried Egg Skillet. Heat Ring This is one of three cast iron skillets I am selling, used by my grandmother, my mother and me. To put this in perspective, my grandmother was married in 1911 and died in 1949. My mother inherited it in 1949. And I inherited it in 2005, so it has had continuous use for over 90 years. I will also sell two other skillets from my family collection:1. another Birmingham Stove and Range antique skillet from the same era with #7, incised.2. a griddle with the exact same type handle, edge, and heat ring, plus a gate mark and an embossed number 8, manufacturer and origin undetermined. My grandmother either inherited this griddle or purchased it used because it was made before 1911. (This one has sold.) Antique BS&R products do not have a made in USA Mark. Made in USA was added to their products in the late sixties.
