They have never been opened or taken out of the boxes except to take these pictures (I opened one) The markers in the box that I opened all worked fine except for the purple (see photo). Since they are from 1993, I can not guarantee that every marker will work properly, so they should be viewed as a collectors item instead of a marker for regular use.
