Description: This is a great looking vintage men’s manual wind watch from Timex. The Timex code on the dial dates the watch to 1974. I found a Timex catalog page from 1974 that calls this a Marlin Calendar. I put an image of the page in my auction just for your information; a paper copy of the page is NOT part of the auction. The movement was cleaned and oiled; the watch runs great and keeps time. The day and date functions work properly. The cosmetics are VERY nice! The case is in good condition and the dial and hands look great. The watch also has a new crystal and Timex 18mm band. NOT WATERPROOF! I know is called a Marlin. I know the dial and back of the watch say it is water resistant, but I cannot guarantee any water resistance on a vintage watch. Please do not buy it, ruin it by wearing it swimming or in the shower, then ask for your money back (if it didn’t happen so often by newbies, I wouldn’t have to keep mentioning it). The case is 35mm wide not counting the crown, and 40mm long including the lugs. See photos for more details.
