Non-ferrous metal, this holds one, standard sized matchbook of any type. The on that came with the holder happens to be from the Riverside Resort Casino & Hotel in Nevada. Really neat item for collectors of vintage NYC memorabilia, Empire State Building collectibles, or just general Americana.
