Description: Completely unique and rare stoneware bell from Marj Peeler. Marj and her husband Richard Peeler were very prolific potters in the 70s. I wouldn't want to spoil the story and you should look into it yourself but this is truly a rare and exciting find. The bell features a handle with folded leaves on either end, and to the handle is tied sturdy twine with delicately carved wood and azure beads. Painted on the bell is an organic, flowing line design. The clapper features a metal ring tied to a thin fan. You can really see the hand work gone into this, and photos do no justice to this delicate, subtle, yet impressive piece of pottery art. Great for any American stoneware collectors. There is NO DAMAGE, this piece is in PERFECT condition. Feel free to inquire about anything, and see item details for more information. Thank you! <3
