Description: Vintage 1979 Survivor PK Ripper BMX Bicycle I purchased this bike from the original owner, who raced it in Washington. I’ve preserved most of the bike in its original form, with just a few small modifications. I replaced the original forks with a set of Tange forks, which I feel complement the bike’s look better. The forks are likely from 1979 Peugeot, made at the same factory as SE and Race Inc. I’ll include the original forks if requested. Additionally, I swapped out the worn-out rear tire for her original Comp 2, which is in much better condition, and added a Uni sticker to the seat. The only issue with this survivor is that the drive-side crank arm is slightly rounded, which prevents it from tightening fully. I tried the JB weld method but didn’t apply it thick enough. However, this never bothered me, as the bike has mostly been used for display and shows. There are no rewelds or dents—this is a solid example of a well-preserved BMX classic.
