Description: selling a Scarce Antique Book on Architecture. this is a bound volume collection of plates from The Architect starting in 1882. the magazine was a British periodical on structural design, art, civil engineering and building. the book is entirely plates. no text at all. no title page, page numbers ect. we think this may have been a custom binding from W H Talcott & Bro, book binders in Harford Conn as the tag on rear cover pictured indicates. the spine is stamped The Architect and the date of 1882 with the Plates below it. there is a good amount of wear on the leather and cloth as shown. several of the first few pages have moisture marks across the top as shown. then the pages get much cleaner the rest of the way through. the pages are tight. the book is chock full of plate illustrations, dozens and dozens of them. we did a short video just leafing through the pages to show the amount. overall, this is probably fair condition because of the cover and first few pages. if you have any questions, feel free to email knowing that we are not book sellers. $12 US shipping.
