Description: ROYAL COPENHAGEN 2021 Christmas Plate Winter in the Garden is the subject of the 2021 Royal Copenhagen Christmas Plate, featuring a view of a birdfeeder in a garden covered with snow. It is a Danish tradition to feed the birds and other wildlife at Christmas, and this plate illustrates that tradition. The design was created by Allan Therkelsen (signed AT on back). The design is molded into the porcelain and hand painted in traditional Copenhagen blue under the glaze. The plate approximately 7.2 inches (18 cm) in diameter, mint condition, with original box and Certificate of Authenticity. Pierced foot for hanging wire. Appropriately marked on the back, including the three wavy line trademark of Royal Copenhagen. This plate had a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $135.
