The purple is bright and eye catching, the handle is white and looks like crystal marble. It fits comfortably in your hand and completes any costume. Behind the Paintjob: We started with 3 pieces and sand all of them to fit each other as best as we can. We file the connection points to give better grip and epoxy our pieces together with J.B. Weld; it’s the good stuff. Then we fill the seams and file the pieces into perfection to give our pieces the look as if it were one entire piece. Most 3D prints have imperfections; we work most out of the piece but we allow some imperfections to go through to add to the battle worn look. What You Will Receive: You will receive a completed item. The Item will be worked into one solid piece that we will prime and apply our battle worn look for you. It will be clear coated and out of the box ready. ************************************************** DIY 3D Print Build Kit: 3D prints are fairly easy to work with and if you have some basic tools, you can build these too! You will receive raw pieces of PLA + filament. These prints will be cleared of supports, but will need extra work prior to assembly. 3D prints have little nibs on them that will need to be sanded down. We recommend sanding the connection points to give the glue something to grab as well. To prime the surface for painting we use a spray-painted base coat. Don’t try to completely cover the piece on the first try. To avoid running the paint; its best to dust the piece first and then completely cover it with a second coat. If you do form runs; dab the paint off (don’t wipe!) while it is wet and respray. Now you can paint it with any paint you prefer, including acrylic. Have fun and reach out to us for any help! The filament is vegan and biodegradable. They will melt with too much sun exposure; don’t leave your prints in a hot window or in direct sunlight for extended periods of time. They will degrade with extensive water exposure as well. Try not to submerge or soak your item.
