Description: This item is a J.D. Wagner, Signature Series, 7'6", 5 weight, 3 piece, 2 tip Bamboo Fly Rod. The model 376I rod ships with original Wagner rod sock and walnut hexagonal rod tube. The serial number is 1097-3. This rod was not fished much and is in very good condition. The translucent wraps with black tips are tight and clean. The dark flamed blank look amazing on this rod coupled with a very clean finish. The nickel silver ferrules, guides, tip tops and reel seat are all very clean. This rod has a very cool rope style sterling silver hook keep. That cork grip shows some signs of use and there are a few light marks on the reel seat hardware. All the sections are the correct size and the tips are straight. All rods I sell ship in a pvc tube inside of a cardboard box and insured. Shipping is usually the following shipping day.
