Description: This is a beautiful vintage handmade quilt in a lovely Pennsylvania Dutch cross-stitch design on white cotton. It measures 105“ x 104“. The edges are scalloped with orange binding. It is in very good condition with 2 slight line marks maybe ink. These are shown in the last 2 photos. They should come out with a gentle wash. This is a really fine quilt with no major stains or odors. The design is of a fancy bouquet of flowers in a vase with birds and a Pennsylvania Dutch look. Several lovely shades of coral, salmon, orange, yellow/gold, aqua and teal and green are used - all pretty and pastel. A truncated version of the pattern repeats at each of the 4 corners and along the center of the borders in 4 places. A large square border of orange cross-stitch and a smaller one inside it surrounds the central bouquet and separates it from the rest of the quilt. The reverse is white. The quilting is very well done. This is a vintage quilt was most probably made from a kit in 1970s or 80’s and is completely hand-stitched and quilted. Sold as shown.
