Full 1-3/4 inch thick "String-Through" Nato Body (also known as Eastern Mahogany, because it has similar tonal & hardness properties), with a gorgeous 3-color Sunburst finish, showing some nice woodgrain. This Classic Vibe model is inspired by the original 1960's Telecaster Custom, with "Cream Binding" on the Top & Back. Original Fender designed "Alnico Single-Coil Pickups", that sound fantastic! The Bridge Pickup has great clarity & bite and the Neck Pickup is one of the best I've personally heard. It sounds clear, with the classic warm, thick Tele tone. I personally feel that most Tele Neck Pickups sound dull & muddy, not this one!Original vintage style String-Through Ashtray Tailpiece/Bridge with 3-Barrel Saddles, Master Volume & Tone Controls and 3-way Selector Switch. The original 3-ply White Pickguard was replaced with a brand-new 3-ply "Mint Green" Pickguard, that goes perfectly with the Sunburst finish and gives this Tele a Vintage/Retro appearance. Pickguard may look White in some pictures, but it's Mint Green (see picture with a White Stratocater back tremolo cover for comparison).*Note that this model comes stock from the manufacture with 21-Fret "Pau-Ferro" Fretboard. If you prefer a MAPLE FRETBOARD like I personally do, and 22 frets instead of 21, I've installed a brand-new, high quality, vintage tinted gloss "Canadian Rock Maple" Neck, with a 22 medium fret "Maple Fretboard". 25.5" scale, 9.5" radius, 42mm nut-width, 55mm heel-width. And it has a Rosewood Skunk-Stripe & Truss-Rod Plug like many Fender Necks.Headstock has a vintage style water-slide decal applied, then sealed with gloss Lacquer. Has a new set of quality vintage style Inline Tuners with split-shafts and a new Chrome Fender Neck-Plate. Note that this Guitar of course wasn't made in Corona California, it's just the Plate I chose to use.Strung up with a fresh set of quality D'Addario 10-46 Strings (the Brand most Pros use & the only Strings I use) and a complete set-up done: truss-rod relief, low action, intonation & Pickup heights.Wonderful playing, great sounding Telecaster Custom with a Vintage/Retro Vibe and an affordable alternative! I consider Guitars to be "playable Art", with the playability of the Neck & Set-Up of course being key. I'm not a professional Luthier, but well above an amateur & I'm "extremely meticulous"! If you're looking for this type of Guitar, think about if other Sellers work on Guitars (most don't) and know how to set them up. Is the Neck straight, Truss-Rod functional, Fretboard clean? Are the Frets oxidized needing cleaned & polished, have dead frets or buzz that requires the frets to be leveled? Will the Strings be rusty or dead, needing a new set? And if it's a used Guitar, I'm sure you've found they usually arrive dusty, needing cleaning and require major tweaking just to be playable! Not this one! Also, will other Seller's description be as thorough as mine? Remember that you get what you pay for!This being said, I must also note: The Neck is perfectly straight, and it plays great, but I can't predict how you like your Guitar set up, so be advised that adjustments or a set-up to your preference "may" be required, and if you can't do it yourself, the costs associated with these adjustments should be expected. Also note that Guitars are made of Wood, and when in transit to you, temperature changes and/or Delivery Service Handling can affect my initial set-up, that again may require adjustments on your end.
