Description: Very sweet green and pink, floral print Edwardian dress. With 3 lace-trimmed flounces making a darling puffed sleeve, it's trimmed with pink and green ribbons at the bodice. There is piping at the neckline and armsceyes. The bodice is lined with white cotton, the closely-pleated skirt is unlined. There are 3 vertical buttonholes at one side of the opening in back, 3 horizontal ones at the other side. I am not sure what type of fastener would have gone into these openings, however. These measurements are from edge to edge, without the bodice or waist overlapping: It's 27 1/2" around at the bust, 24 1/4" around at the waist, it's 30" long, center front of the bodice to the hem. In good condition. There are 3 places on the skirt, near the hem, with mild to moderate discoloration. I have shown these in the photos. In addition, there might be 3 other dime or nickel-sized light brown spots, also on the skirt. The back of the bodice has some medium discoloration, also shown above, a spot on the front of the bodice. No holes or worn areas, the print is consistent in color. This dates from C.1905, and is from the Caroline Astor estate.
