With charming hand carved boots, metal pins in its joints for articulation purposes. All hand painted detail with beaded eyes and fabric finished top hat. Stood on a metal wire stand for display purposes only. With its pine back support still in place which would have once had a stick placed in it so it could dance. Jig dolls are traditional wooden or tin-plate toys for adults or children. They are dolls with loose limbs that step dance or 'jig' on the end of a vibrating board or platform in imitation of a real step dancer.
