Description: This is a rare combination of a named CDV photograph from the Civil war accompanied by the newspaper obituary telling exactly where and when he served. The obit has some light damage to it but you can read everything and would frame well with the photo. There are small holes in it (see pics). The photo is in good condition with a few issues. You can see the damage bottom center where it appears something was attached. There is a dark spot upper center with a small crease next to it. Some discoloration appears around with corner bends and edge dings in a few spots. The back of the CDV has his name and a relation to somebody else. It also states Civil war uniform. There are scuff marks vertically on the back, two of them (see pics). Overall, a great piece of Civil War memorabilia that you won’t have to research who/what/ where about this soldier. Please review pictures provided for details of condition and please ask any questions before purchase.
