The light has a retro 1950s atomic vibe that the 1950s is so notorious for. CONDITION- There are imperfections throughout such as paint scrapes, chips, and patina spotting and ware. Some pitting of the chrome in areas and some age checks/crazing in the acrylic shifter lens, there is also some aging lines in some of the other acrylic lenses. The dash cluster housing is very old and has lots of imperfections but the originality was left intact and just polished to back to a beautiful luster. The stainless steel hubcap light shade is an original from the 1950s and has a few very slight tings and some scrapes/swirling from its days of being used on a vehicle. The light holds 4 standard sized tapered bulbs on top and currently has amber bulbs which are included. The dashboard lights are all LED type lights. There are two toggle switches, one on each side of the base that operate the top lights or dash lights separately, or switch both switches on and run the top and dash lights simultaneously. SIDE NOTE- The darker the room the more this light comes to life!! The amount of work and hours to build this piece is just outstanding, an amazing piece of American folk art with a functionality you can use. Please keep in mind this light is very large and quite hefty in weight, it will need a decent amount of space for displaying. MEASUREMENTS- Approximately 16 1/2” wide x 19” tall x 16” thick/deep.
