Description: ANTIQUE 1800s Exquisite France European GOLD Gilt Carved VICTORIAN SMALL, 12”x8” OVAL 'QUITE HEAVY' METAL BEVELED WALL MIRROR. **Measures (approx) 18" W x 15 1/4"L. Estate sale find from Distinguished Private Collection, all pieces were lovely & rare. This one is quite a beautiful gem, ornate scrollwork intricately woven throughout and a beveled cut glass mirror. But what makes this truly unique is the 'landscape' perspective with a horizontal layout, very Victorian in style. The back is just as detailed, it has a tin metal backing & the original swivel hardware, along with a heavy chain for wall hanging. It's in very good shape showing only two small spots on bottom right of glass, normal for age & usage, nothing distracting (see pictures as part of description, sold as-in). Forgive the photos, the flash & clearly the mirror needs a good wash. Very charming piece, looks amazing in any decor! *****All California & New York buyers will have additional fees added for state & local taxes.***** Keywords: art, boudoir, foyer, salon, france, paris, 1800s, Victorian No returns expected so please refer to photos for further questions.
